Finishing the left hind and tail4. Finishing left hind leg and tail: Step back slightly to allow the sheep to roll toward you, bringing its hind end and tail higher off the floor. Stroke parallel and to each side of the backbone to the loin, being sure to clear any remaining wool around the tail. This makes the long blow strokes easier later.
