Shearing Sheep | Shearing the Sheep (or Angora Goat)
8. Longblow: Ensure that the sheeps back is arched, with its head tucked behind your left leg. With your comb flat, clear between the shoulder and flank, and make a stroke from the rump to the head, parallel to, but not crossing, the backbone. Roll the sheep toward you, step over its tail and rump, and push the head down firmly. Make another stroke parallel to the other side of the backbone all the way to the left ear. Two more strokes should clear well to the other side of the backbone.
