Mabou Ridge Centre for Holistic Living -- Llama trekking -- Take a llama to lunch!

Llama Trekking | Menus

At the heart of Mabou Ridge Centre for Holistic Living is healthy and wholesome living. An important component is eating a well-balanced meal of nutritional foods which have not been heavily or chemically processed, and which are made from organically grown and prepared ingredients.

Menus for llama treks are planned to provide energy for walking, and give satisfaction without feeling heavy or bloated afterwards. Fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade bread and rolls, baked bannoch, muffins and cookies, and juice, coffee and tea are included in most menus.

Every effort is made to purchase organic ingredients, and to avoid precooked meal items and snacks, which include preservatives. If meat is included, vegetarian alternatives are provided. All meat is purchased from local farmers. Please indicate any special eating requirements when you book your trek.
