The Mabou River Inn (lower left) is ideally situated to enjoy the best of everything Cape Breton has to offer – whether it be a square dance, a musician's summit, artisan's boutiques, pubs, Celtic storytelling, an historic site, recreation, or site seeing, you'll find it all here while you make yourself right at home at the Mabou River Inn.
Mabou River Inn
We know you'll be right at home in the Mabou and surrounding areas. While attending cultural and recreational events and the myriad places of interest, you'll want to experience Cape Breton hospitality at its finest in beautiful surroundings and comfort. Mabou River Inn is just that place. Deliciously home-cooked meals, the best pizza around, clean spacious rooms, and an atmosphere of genuine friendliness (and step-dancing lessons in the summer!), are just a few of the trademarks of this well-appointed inn. Give them a shout. And tell Dave and Donna we said to say "hi!"

Duncreigan Country Inn
The Duncreigan Country Inn, styled after the fashion of the original which was built by Senator John McKeen, is a charming combination of yesterday and today. The Inn has eight spacious rooms with large bay windows and private baths. Guests can enjoy the parlour for reading, listening to music, playing the piano or a game, visiting with friends, or enjoying a cocktail. One of the dining rooms is adorned with a cozy fireplace while the other overlooks the Mabou Harbour. The inn is also graced with art and folk art of local and regional artists, most of which is for sale.
